Costa Fiorita è il nome del territorio che, fra colline Toscane e Mar Tirreno,
comprende alcune fra le più suggestive e ricercate località d'Italia, le cui
illustri tradizioni storiche, culturali e turistiche, hanno contribuito al
progresso ed allo sviluppo nazionale ed internazionale.

Il centro principale della Costa Fiorita è Castiglioncello, un promontorio che
si allunga in mare con tale slancio che con un pò di buona volontà si può avere

tutto una pineta e tutto una collina: una fantasia di natura. I pini e i lecci,
fanno ombra fin sulle spiagge; pareti di pietra coperte di verde chiudono il

Castiglioncello non è una sola: si fa chiamare Chioma, Campolecciano,
Quercetano, Punta Righini, Porticciolo, Portovecchio, Caletta. Ciascun nome
indica un pezzo di costa diverso dall'altro: hanno in comune il particolare di
chiudere piccole spiagge a semicerchio e piccole baie sabbiose che hanno da una
parte gli scogli (ed il mare, naturalmente) e dall'altra la collina.
L'individuo resta al centro dell'ambiente, è protagonista. Qui non potrà mai
esserci turismo d'assalto, da luna park: lo impediscono la forza di uno spazio
naturale e la tradizione di una legge non scritta ma tramandata e sempre
osservata attraverso i fatti. Castiglioncello, rinomata località turistica di
livello internazionale, bella e suggestiva, è meta di vacanze d'élite, scelta
da nomi illustri della cultura, della politica e dello spettacolo, come i
Macchiaioli, famosi pittori dell'800, Pirandello, Mastroianni, Gassman,
Zeffirelli, Visconti, Sordi, Spadolini e molti altri, che amavano ed amano
rilassarsi fra scogliere, pinete, spiaggette e paesaggi unici al mondo.
